Short and strong

Last week we got to know the longer version of the classical espresso, so today it is time to know a little more about the shorter version - ristretto.

This coffee is just the opposite of lungo. They differ in terms of the name because ristretto means restricted in Italian as well as in terms of way of brewing. Ristretto is prepared the same way as the espresso, but with a smaller amount of water (15 ml). Thanks to this type of brewing, we obtain literally one sip of a very strong coffee.

Let's make this post adequate to the character of ristretto.

May your coffee taste great!
