Missing summer?
The weather outside is perfect for staying at home with a nice cup of hot coffee with seasonal flavor, but we are unique and that is why today we will focus on Freddo coffee.

The Freddo coffee is nothing extraordinary, but a cold espresso. There are many ways of preparing it, but the most popular is to pour hot espresso into a glass filled with ice and then optionally add a little bit of a strong alcohol like brandy or grappa. Other recipes suggest using colled down espresso or adding a little bit of milk. The choice is up to you.
The interesting fact is that this type of coffee is extremely popular in Greece. Even to the point that sometimes it is called a Greek coffee, but it refers to the coffee without alcohol.
I will not encourage you to try it immediately, but it is worth buying during long and hot summer days. There are plenty of other coffees more adapted to be drunk in the current season so let's focus on them next time.
May your coffee taste great!
