... and wet coffee?
Last week, we got to know a coffee which is an oxymoron in terms of the naming. Today I will present you a coffee which is also some kind of extreme because today's star is a hyperbole among coffee beverages - a wet cappuccino.
As you noticed, in the world of coffee, every coffee has its opposite. We have the pair of lungo and ristretto, black and white, latte macchiato and espresso macchiato... According to this scheme, it is not a surprise that we have a wet cappuccino when we know a dry version of it.
But how can we make a beverage wetter?
A wet cappuccino is an ordinary cappuccino, but with more steamed milk and less foam. And of course it has its extreme version - a very wet cappuccino is just a cafe latte.
I know it might be confusing and hard to understand the difference between dry, standard and wet cappuccino, but I hope it will be more clear with this picture found on the Starbucks' page.
