As flat as white

Be prepared for a little shock. Not every so-called classic (in general opinion) coffee is from Italy. For most people, a drink consisting of coffee brew with milk in various combinations of proportions always comes from the capital of spaghetti. It is right in most cases, but there is also a flat white.

Flat white coffee is a double espresso with steamed milk with small bubbles and glossy consistency. It is very similar to cafe latte, but it has a smaller amount of microfoam (the milk with fine bubbles is called that way). Another really important thing is that it has to have a flat surface because this is the origin of the name -  a flat white.

As I mentioned before, this coffee does not come from Italy.
The origins of the flat white itself are contentious. It comes from Australia or New Zeland, but it is impossible to decide who is the inventor as the flat what was served for the first time in a similar time in both locations.

May your coffee taste great!
