"We DO drink americano"

The following classic on our way is an Americano. You may think that it may be the first coffee in our journey which origin is not Italian. Wrong! Take a look...

The Americano coffee is an espresso with hot water. The amount of water varies between 25-30 ml and 470 ml. When the coffee and water is in 1:1 ratio, it is called Italiano in the USA (ironic, isn't it?) or short Americano
There is no specific way of serving it.

It is believed that this coffee was invented during World War II in Italy when American G.I.s asked to pour water in the espresso to dilute it and at the same time make it more like the coffee which they were drinking in their homeland.

This post is just like Americano. Nothing extraordinary, but simple.

May your coffee taste great!
