5 o'clock coffee?

Without a doubt, there are more tea lovers rather than coffee lovers. They can perfectly replace every coffee feature with a tea equivalent, for example, if you want a power-up instead of drinking an energizing shot of espresso, they choose a green tea. I don't dislike tea, but I just simply feel that coffee is better in terms of taste and other sensory experiences.
Therefore, we can make a settlement with a coffee-tea beverage, namely chai latte.

Originally chai latte comes from India and it has nothing to do with a coffee, but many cafes all over the world offer the version with espresso. It is prepared on the basis of leafy tea and fresh, spicy spices. The preparation of this type of beverage is similar to our classical cafe latte, but instead of using just an espresso, we have to mix it with previously prepared spiced tea.

The fun fact is that the majority of you thought about Pumpkin Spiced Chai Tea Latte from well-known Starbucks, which is surely undisputed star when it comes to this type of beverage. Maybe not every one of you has already tasted it, but I'm almost sure that everybody has heard about it. Although this version does not contain coffee, there is no problem to ask the barista for an extra shot of espresso.

Pumpkin Spice Latte comes from the United States, but nowadays it is popular almost everywhere. In fact, it is not a variation about chai latte, because there is no chai (tea) involved. It is a vanilla based syrup with a pumpkin puree and milk in it. It may sound gross, but the taste is quite good. Have you tried it? What is your opinion? Let me know!

May your coffee taste great!
